    Refining the definitions, dimensions, and models that make up the Capability Fitness framework through critique and testing.

    Studying how AI assistance affects learning, and when it strengthens capability versus substituting for the practice that develops it.

    Metacognition & self-regulated learning

    Investigating how people monitor, regulate, and reflect on their own thinking, and how that can be supported.

    Developing and testing design principles and rules of engagement for AI that improves outcomes and leaves people more capable.
